How to Use Hidden Fields to Make an Extract Smaller - Tableau in Two Minutes
In this video we walk through how you can hide fields you're not using in your visualizations and dashboards. This helps manage the size of extracts and can be the difference between a Tableau dashboard you can email, or one you have to send via a file transfer.
NOTE: Normally we use Tableau Public for all our videos, but in this case you'll need the full version of Tableau (personal or professional), otherwise you can't create extracts. :-)
