thoughts on stability with tighter pins & lower friction at bearing points
I failed to mention that when I speak of friction, I am talking about friction at the bearing & termination points such as the capo bar, agraffes, pressure bar (uprights), high angles with felt under the non-speaking length, etc. When I say, "tightness", I'm speaking of the tuning pin. When I say "friction", I am talking about bearing points affecting the string. Thanks to @Ekstrapolator for helping me clarify that!
