Southern Nights - The Petersens feat. Elle & Toni (LIVE)
The bluegrass world has introduced us to so many friends over the years, and it's neat to watch the same thing begin with YouTube as we got to film a couple songs with @elleandtoni (formerly known as Reina del Cid), including "Southern Nights." Check out the link below for the other video!
Also, a big thanks to everyone who showed up in Oklahoma City and Grapevine, Texas (and of course Branson)! It has been a crazy weekend, but songs like these make everything better.

►LYRICS - Southern Nights
Southern nights
Have you ever felt a southern night
Free as a breeze
And not to mention the trees
Whistling tunes that you know and love so
Southern nights
Just as good even when close your eyes
I apologize to anyone who can truly say
He has found a better way
Southern skies
Have you ever felt a southern skies
Its precious beauty lies just beyond the eye
It goes running through your soul
Like the stories told of old
Old man
He and his dog they walked the old land
Every flower touched his cold hand
As he slowly walked by
Weeping willows would cry for joy
Feels so good
Feels so good it's frightening
Wish I could
Stop this world from fighting
La-da-da daa-da…
Mysteries
Like this and many others in the trees
Blow in the night
In those southern skies
Southern nights
Feels so good it's frightening
Wish I could
Stop this world from fighting
La-da-da daa-da…
