Gigafactory Texas! This is where Model Y’s, and Cyber Truck production happens and in 2025, the Next Generation Car(s), Cybercab & the Optimus Robot!

Another beautiful day to fly and this time, the day before the big Shareholders Day which promises to be one of the most consequential in the history of the company, and that is not an exaggeration.

Obviously, the one item with the most attention is the new multi-year CEO compensation package, but there are several other critical items up for vote too, including the potential to explore Tesla and XAI connections and possibly investments by Tesla into XAI.

In the video introduction, I discuss the upcoming Shareholders Meeting and remind shareholders to vote if they have not yet done so as today is the last day. We also talk about the Tesla Owners Group sponsored Afterparty to be held tomorrow from 5:00 to 9:00 PM at the Boring Bodega in Bastrop, Texas.

Also, I discuss a recent interview I had with Matt Smith from Rebellionaire. In that interview, I discuss the Cybercab, investor and consumer concern areas, options and how the new FSD V14 is a critical element of the success of Robotaxi. We also talk about the factory, preparations to build the Cybercab, and several other topics. I’ve put the link to this interview in the sources section below and I recommend you check it out!

Finally, I discuss the recent release of FSD V14.1.5 to Cybertrucks, which is the first major FSD update in many months and brings the Cybertruck up to the same or similar standards as the rest of the AI4 vehicle fleet.

Other highlights include a strong production run today of both Cybertrucks and the Model Y Standard. The outbound lot was about 60% full of new vehicles, many of which getting ready for transport truck pickup.

I fly well south to check on several of the Caisson construction projects and we can see what seem to be large concrete “sumps” for lack of a better work now being constructed in all of them, along with a new clearing that leads from the Caisson just south of the Colorado River and to the east, towards where the water treatment and electricity plants are located.

Many new Cybercab rear sub frame (RSF) castings were laid out along the east side of the casting section, along with many racks filled with Model Y, Cybercab and Cybertruck castings.

The Melt Center second furnace loading system assembly is nearing completion, meaning the amount of materials that can be handled, melted and alloy aluminum manufactured will soon be double the current amount. This is also great news when it comes to preparations for Cybercab production, as many more Castings will be expected to be manufactured.

Another great indicator of Cybercab production line assembly and preparation for start of test production is the near completed installation of all equipment and production related materials inside the factory. Almost all the items staged for the production line have been moved from the staging yards and inside, with little left observable.

The switchyard and cortex 2 construction sites are making a lot of progress too, with underground connecting conduit work about 75% completed, most trenches filled in, and piers being installed along the west side of the Cortex building while equipment assembly on the switchyard expansion first transformer was underway today.

Much more to see int eh image and both see and talk about in the main video! Thanks for your support and for watching along!
