Delonghi Pinguino Pacl90. It is giving me error PF. How can I fix it?

Douglas: HVAC Technician: By this, this means the sensor has failed.
Douglas: HVAC Technician: To really complicate things, Delonghi refers to the sensor or probe as a "feeler".
Douglas: HVAC Technician: Your model has a "feeler" which is a wire with a bulb at the end connected to the control board.
Douglas: HVAC Technician: In my experience these get water in them and are trashed.
Douglas: HVAC Technician: the part number for your feeler is TL1508.
Douglas: HVAC Technician: If you don't mind getting into your unit you should be able to replace this yourself.

Douglas: HVAC Technician: http:/www.ereplacementparts.com/feeler-p-696499.html I have in the past with similar sensors, purchased a can of that liquid rubber you would dip your tools into to rubberize the handle, and dipped the sensors in this stuff to sort of coat it.
Douglas: HVAC Technician: They respond slightly slower but the rubber helps keep the moisture out.
JustAnswer Customer: Good information; however, I need more because I suspect a problem with the outlet/circuit that the AC is plugged into.
JustAnswer Customer: 1) Two weeks ago, my laptop PC gave me a “wrong (low voltage?) warning” message when I plugged it into the bedroom outlet.
JustAnswer Customer: It thought that I had used the wrong adaptor, but I hadn’t.
JustAnswer Customer: No recurrence since.
JustAnswer Customer: 2) The ACis now working normally.
