Roland VH-11 ghost full-volume triggering
This is a Roland VH-11 used with a TD-9. Worked OK for 6 months, but then started to have spurious hits. Getting much worse and Roland's after-sales support is non-existent.
The video shows me gently moving the hi-hat pedal up and down to open and close the hi-hat. If you listen carefully you will hear very quiet correct hi-hat shut sounds from the unit. You do NOT need to listen carefully to hear the very loud random ghost triggers which make it unplayable.
