Gwent | THIS IS MY DECK BUILDING PROCESS
Today I'm going to take you through my deck building process. This is normally what I do before any deck guide until I'm happy with the results. I did not prepare anything prior to starting the recording so there will be a lot of thinking out loud. As I add and remove cards from the deck I often find myself visualizing different matchups and how to deal with them. I hope this is useful for some of you since I don't intend on doing something like this very often.
Tomorrow I will be posting the final version of what we started today and you'd be surprised how much it has evolved even since the end of this video.
My advice to beginners:
1. Pick a faction then choose an archetype and leader that supports it.
2. Search for the key word of your archetype in the deck builder and choose cards that you think will synergize together.
3. Once you've put a deck together, consider the matchups you will be facing and make adjustments to tech against them. If you're unfamiliar with your matchups skip this step.
4. Play a few games then write down what went well and what didn't. Were there problems with consistency?, lack of synergy?, points?, removal?
5. Go back into the deck builder and take what you've learned and make any necessary adjustments.
Repeat step 4 and 5 until you're happy with the final product.
