TypeIt ReadIt is free text-to-speech software for Windows 10, 8.1, and 7 SP1. There is a version for Mac too. TypeIt ReadIt was originally developed to help a visually impaired person type and work with text. This app can read text for the start, read text from the cursor and save the text-to-speech reading to a wav file. Any desktop text-to-speech (TTS) voice that is installed in Windows can be used. This includes voices of another language. Free TTS voices can be installed in the Language settings found in Windows. TypeIt ReadIt allows Windows to dictate text (Speech Recognition) to it. The dictation settings can be found in the Dictation Ease of Access settings found in Windows.
TypeIt ReadIt comes in 64 & 32-bit versions. The Mac version has a few more features than the Windows version.
