Depth Lab App - ARCore Depth API Scan / Effects & Occlusion Demo
Trying out Depth Scan app, and using different interactive applications that demonstrate the depth scanning, occlusion and see how AR with 3D scanning of the environment can allow AR devs to creative more immerrsive, useful fun and engaging applications compared to just simple flat surface scan.
This app uses ARCore Depth API algorithms to generate a depth map with a single RGB camera.
This algorithm takes multiple device images from different angles and compares them to estimate the distance to every pixel as a user moves their phone.
You only need an ACRore compatible device, no propietry camera hardware needed.
