Lights, camera, Julia Roberts!
In an unexpected twist, the Hollywood star trades her ball gown for a sleek black suit in Lancôme's new commercial. Directed by award-winning Damien Chazelle, this cinematic short film celebrates the launch of "La vie est belle L'Elixir," the French brand's latest fragrance.
Shot on 35mm film and set in Paris, the piece shows Roberts, 56, escaping to a rooftop overlooking the Arc de Triomphe. The actress, a Lancôme ambassador for over a decade, highlights the chemistry she shared with Chazelle during filming.
The scent, created by master perfumers Antoine Maisondieu and Christophe Raynaud of Givaudan, is described as a modern, woody, gourmand floral fragrance. The commercial's aesthetic, complemented by Genevieve Herr's natural makeup and Serge Normant's flowing hairstyle, enhances Roberts' timeless beauty. This campaign, which will be available starting in September 2024, promises to captivate Spanish audiences with its blend of Parisian glamour and Julia Roberts' charismatic presence.
