Preparing for the speaking part of the exam
My name is Anna Markova. I have been living in Latvia for almost five years, but it seems like only a few months. Time flies so fast.
I am from Russia, from Moscow. Moscow is still my favorite city in the world, but it will soon be overtaken by Riga.
I am from Ukraine, from Kiev. I really like living in Riga. Riga is my favorite city in the world.
I like living in Riga. I like that the people are kind and the streets are clean.
I like that there are always cultural events in Riga.
My native language is Russian. I also know English, and now I am learning Latvian with great interest.
I am an accountant by profession. When I was a child, I wanted to become a tram conductor.
Now I work as a director. It is a very serious and responsible job.
I am fifty-nine years old, but at heart I feel very young.
I have a husband. His name is Andrei. We have two children – Aleks and Marija.
Our children are already grown up. My daughter works as a teacher, and my son works as a driver. They live in Russia.
