Dream. Create. Inspire.. Rory Kramer
This video was inspired by and produced for Rory Kramer. My name is Danielle. I am a senior in college. Originally, I was planning on going to school for athletic training. Two weeks before graduation, I changed my mind. I realized athletic training was not what I wanted to do all my life, and it wasn't what was going to make me happy. I took some time to reflect, and even though my parents were stressed since it was crunch time and I didn't know what I wanted, they helped me sort things out. I realized that the previous year, I had created a video to help my sister meet Justin Bieber, and it was taking me on an incredible journey. I realized that I had made multiple videos after that one, and really enjoyed it and had a passion for it. After doing some research and taking some time to think about it, I changed my major from athletic training to film/video production. I really looked/look up to Alfredo Flores who was doing some incredible work with Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, etc. I told him I changed my major to follow in his footsteps, and the encouragement I got from him is what has pushed me to continue onward even when bumps in the road come around. Recently, I came across Rory. Rory started off working for 3lau, and chainsmokers, and Martin Garrix. He had a goal to work with Justin, and he has accomplished that, he is accomplishing that. I began following Rory and his work, watching his youtube videos, instagram posts, etc. I truly admire his work ethic, his passion, his love for what he does and the happiness it brings him. I just wanted to create this video as something for Rory to look back on and maybe see how much he inspires others through his work, and his perspective. I'm sure he probably has a ton of film reels that he has created, and this might not be much different from those, but I just felt the want and the need to do this for him as a 'thank you.' I hope to maybe work alongside him, or Fredo, someday, or both, and learn from them. Even if it's just for a day on tour or something. I graduate with my Bachelor of Science (focus in humanities/communications/film) in May and I really want to start living my dreams and the goals I have set for myself. Because that is what brings me true happiness. Setting a goal, and reaching it, and then moving on to the next. Dream. Create. Inspire. Thank you Rory Kramer. Thank you also to Alfredo Flores.
