It highlights the platform's advanced filtering capabilities—such as searching by distance, user ratings, and specific points of interest (POIs)—and its ability to provide detailed route information, including elevation profiles and interactive maps.
The core of the proposal is to demonstrate how high-quality, professional content you have available can be effectively showcased to RouteYou’s large community of over 15 million users per year.
Key Highlights of the Platform:
Search & Discovery: Robust filters for route types, lengths, and user scores.
Detailed Insights: Integration of visual media, topographic maps, and "Points of Interest" (POIs) with rich descriptions.
Route Planner: A sophisticated tool for users to create their own paths or modify existing ones using specialized routing (e.g., "Hiking - nicest").
Usage of the routes: Users can make use of the routes via smartphone, GPS or even print. They also get the additional information of things to see, or eat and drink along the route.
Global Reach: Visibility across millions of visits and multiple languages.
We are looking specifically for
1) a variety of different types of good quality routes (in GPX format) with a good description (hiking, recreational walking, recreational cycling, roadbiking, gravelbiking, MTB, horseriding, boattrips, kano,...- if its's outdoor we can provide it)
2) a variety of POIs (with type, name, description, pictures,...)
3) a variety of service providers (with type, name, description, pictures,. URL for further info or booking, contact info...) such as hotels, B&Bs, restaurants, pubs, bike rentals, tourist offices,...
