I ate surprisingly well here in ATL, and was impressed with the vegan culture overall. It wasn’t as robust as NYC or LA, but it definitely had options and I was grateful that @adaircurtis, @paigemobley, @encurtis, and @daniebb3 indulged my plant-based preferences.
Here were three of my favorite spots:
@cafesunflower - this local spot is known for its vegan brunch but I loved everything on their menu. I had a delicious veggie bowl and their fried brussel sprouts were simply outstanding. Oh and I took a piece of chocolate ganache cake home for dessert 😛
@tassilisraw - this hole in the wall was so unassuming, and I can honestly say I’ve never eaten anywhere quite like this. Their wraps are by far the largest I’ve ever seen, but their flavors were on point too. This kale seaweed wrap was filled with flavor, and I had plenty of leftovers 😋
@sluttyveganatl - an institution in ATL, slutty vegan brings the enthusiasm to the entire food experience. It’s a party every time you walk in, and their food lives up to the hype, making it a great option for non vegans. Their burgers were to die for and I was totally ok with the food baby I had afterwards 😅
