Shroud Moves to Mixer (From Twitch)
It was August 1st, 2019 when Ninja announced that he was moving over to mixer, the competitor to Twitch. This was a pretty radical move, and really took everyone by surprise, considering Ninja solidified himself as one of the biggest/if not the biggest streamer in recent memory. Now Fast forward to 24th of September, and once again another huge twitch streamer is moving over to Mixer. This afternoon Shroud announced that he will be moving over to Mixer. One can only imagine how big the offer must have been from Mixer to obtain two of the biggest streamers on twitch. Personally, I think that it is time for more variety, and quite frankly I think we deserve a better company that Twitch, considering their double standards and shady behind the scenes affairs. Mixer doesn’t have much of a following right now, but it really makes you wonder who else will be switching over, additionally we’ll have to see how much of a difference the two transfers will make, maybe more and more streamers will begin to switch over now that two juggernauts have as viewers begin to swap over themselves. It is tough to say what exactly will happen next, but this could be beneficial in the long run.
