DaVinci Resolve Tutorial: How to Remove Green Screen
Today I'm going to show you how to remove a green screen in DaVinci Resolve. Let's get started.
Step 1. Add your green screen video to the timeline.
Step 2. Go to the Edit tab. Click on Effects, then click the magnifying glass icon and type "3D keyer"
Step 3. Drag the 3D Keyer effect onto your green screen video clip.
Step 4. Click the button to open the Open FX overlay (the "effects overlay" button).
Step 5. In the preview screen, click and drag a line across the green screen area. DaVinci Resolve will automatically remove the green background.
Step 6. If your subject still has a green residual outline, go to the effect settings and increase the "Despill" option to 1.
Step 7. You can now add your own background video behind the clip.
