Download a text replacement app from the Google Play Store. This example will use an app called "texpand".
Open the text replacement app.
Ensure text replacement is “on”.
Click on the green (+) symbol and add a new phrase.
In the “abbreviation” field, type in whatever you want your shortcut to be.
In the phrase field, paste in your CP string.
To obtain your CP string, go to Discord and open the #iv-strings channel. Type in the mon/stats you’re interested in (“?cp machop 100%” for 100% machop in this example.)
Copy the CP string obtained from the bot.
Return to texpand/text replacement app. Paste in the CP string into the phrase field. Click the green arrow to go back and save.
Open Pokemon GO.
Go to pokemon and type in your shortcut exactly as named.
Click on the green check to replace text.
IV check any mons that show up. These may have a possibility of fitting your CP string’s chosen stats.
Favorite high IV mons you wish to keep.
Remove the CP string from the search bar. Transfer mons that are not favorited.
NOTE: Mons that are not high IV may show up in shortcut results due to multiple CP combinations at different levels. The ones that show up with the shortcut are definitely worth checking. Know the ones that don’t show up are below 94% IV!
