Dyson Sphere Program - Zen Multithreaded 016 - Proliferation and Orbital Collectors
My voice is a little softer with this episode, dratted allergies. Good thing that I fixed the audio, I'm not drowned out by the game music.
So I decided that proliferation was a good way to go, then putting down orbital collectors on our Ice Giant:
proliferated science
proliferated fuel
orbital collectors
red science changes
It all went smoothly, once we got back we did the Ice Giant hydrogen into Red Science thing. (Once I remembered to have the ILS collect from the orbitals...)
The interesting thing is that we get more than 2x fire ice vs hydrogen from this Ice Giant. Essentially we will be getting more hydrogen from converting fire ice to graphene/hydrogen, than the Ice Giant delivers naturally. That's a good one!
I think that this is the first time I've had the jumpstart planet orbiting an Ice Giant.
