Methods of uploading documents into SharePoint
A quick guide on the different methods currently available to upload documents into a SharePoint document library.
1. Drag and Drop (doesn't allow folders to be uploaded)
2. Upload button (individual files only)
3. Windows explorer view (windows machines only, IE only, WebClient service must be started)
4. Sync (copies document library onto local machine and sync's changes back to the cloud).
These methods are available using the on-premises SharePoint 2013 and also in SharePoint online (part of Office 365).
