During the flight, only the autopilot assisted her. It's likely that this was the cause of her death. Jenny had no idea what most of the buttons on the panel meant or what would happen if she pressed one.

After the crash, everyone became interested in the videos from her channel, which showed the prelude to the disaster.

In a video released a month before the crash, blancolirio I noticed she was fiddling with the autopilot. However, she didn't understand how it was supposed to work. She pressed the "up" button, and the autopilot started pitching the nose up, causing the airspeed to drop. According to the instructions, she should have added engine power, but she was having trouble with the engine controls.

The autopilot is unique—she has a Century 2000, and on this particular aircraft, it also has a manual pitch trim.

When the autopilot is struggling, it lights the "up" or "down" light, prompting the pilot to adjust the trim.
The autopilot was struggling without an engine, so it lit the light, and she adjusted the trim, pitching the plane up. She experienced a pre-stall and disengaged the autopilot.

What almost everyone on the English-language Century 2000 autopilot forum assumes is that on the day of the crash, she re-engaged the autopilot and adjusted the trim behind the light in one of the pitch change modes.

There's speculation that she pressed the "down" button, causing the nose to drop. She didn't change engine speed (as usual), and the plane began to nosedive. She began pulling back, climbing from 4,500 feet to 6,000 feet. She simultaneously adjusted the autopilot trim lever, following the autopilot light, to lower the nose. She adjusted it to 5 degrees out of a possible 10. At 6,000 feet, she either experienced a power stall or simply pushed the control column forward—and plummeted, with the trim settings and vertical speed making it impossible to recover the plane.

After the accident, the NTSB report recorded the trim lever angle set to 5 degrees, pointing the nose down.

I filmed this explanation, but decided not to include it in the release because it would have required a lengthy explanation of the trim lever, the operating principle of the autopilot on her plane, and a lot of technical details.

That's why I only left the phrase "perhaps she pressed the wrong button on the autopilot and, not understanding how it worked, died" in the video release.
