In this video we take a deep dive into the technical process by which you can match different cameras for a livestream or live-to-tape editing session. We achieve this by shooting the same color card with multiple cameras, importing that footage into DaVinci Resolve, matching the shots using the difference composite mode and then exporting a LUT built from those corrections. While the process is technical, you'll understand the basics pretty quickly and be able to adapt the workflow to your own pipeline. This tutorial is lens agnostic but you could apply the same techniques for matching different lenses on the same body or even different lenses on different bodies. It's a flexible workflow that will help improve your live production pipeline.
