Overview of Santos Port, near Sao Paulo
Santos is the biggest sea port in Latin America. Distant an hour from Sao Paulo, the biggest city in all subcontinent, it delivers and exports most of Brazil’s goods. The city is quite small, but has a world-known football club, homonymous with the town. where the historic footballer Pelé played. I didn’t go into the town, just to the terminal (as in the next video you will see). Therefore, I decided to take these shoots from the top decks of the ship, nearly 50 meters above ground. Here you can see the big quantity of containers, cars, cranes, and even the internal train. It is surprising how weird the cruise looks without people, it really resembled a ghost ship. I was told some employees are given time in some port calls to visit the place in their free time; maybe this was the case. Everything looked lonely. It was a cloudy day, quite different from what we had in Rio.
