Crackshot Hunter DESTROYS Endgame This is PEAK - Conquest BG Mars
This Solar Hunter build combines Crackshot, Speedloader Slacks, Dragon's Breath, and Festival Flight to create one of the strongest weapon and ability-focused Hunter builds in Destiny 2: Monuments of Triumph.
After showcasing this setup previously, I wanted to push it even further, so I took it into Conquest Battleground Mars at -40 Power Delta. The results were exactly what I expected: this build absolutely dominated ennd game. The combination of near-constant Crackshot activations, incredible ability uptime, powerful ignitions, Restoration, and Dragon's Breath damage makes it one of the most complete Solar Hunter builds available right now.
The build generates class ability energy at an absurd rate, allowing you to chain Crackshot activations throughout entire encounters. Crackshot hits surprisingly hard, applies Scorch, provides healing, and triggers Ignitions when all three shots connect. Combined with Dragon's Breath and Festival Flight, enemies rarely get a chance to fight back before exploding.
One of the biggest winners from the Final Update is this exact setup. While On Your Mark no longer grants Cure at x10 stacks and now provides Restoration on weapon kills, the change fits perfectly here because Crackshot already supplies a reliable source of healing.
I've also tested this build extensively across some of Destiny 2's hardest content. It performs exceptionally well in Conquest activities, including Operation Seraph and Lightblade at extreme power deficits. While the strict Conquest timer makes full solo clears not so possible on this setup, the build has more than enough power to handle the combat challenge itself. I've carried countless runs where teammates fell during the run, and I had no problem at all clearing the rest with this build.
