You don't have to tag your inventory and gear if you just use the auto-layout (the little arrows in an x over the deposit inventory and deposit equipment). It automatically adds everything in your equipment and inventory to the tag, in addition to separating gear from inventory and laying it out so that if you withdraw it in a zigzag it comes out in the right order (mostly, except for when you have multiple of the same item e.g. potions/food). (fyi this doesn't work right (yet) for stuff like barrows items - those still have to be shift-dragged onto the tab or manually have their tags edited to include a "*", but for most everything else it works).
If you don't already have the plug-ins installed, you can go to the plugin hub in Runelite by scrolling down the wrench options in the sidebar.
