hello my friends my name is muhammad naveed and in this lecture i am going to you "IF
function" in ms excel so in order to start any function as you know that first we have to click on the cell double click definitely as you can see that now is showing uh indication that we are able to use any function so what i do i simply type is equals to as you know that in order to start any function we have to start any function with is equals to or plus or minus but most common is is equals to then after we will type the name of the function means of formula so here we are using if then we will definitely we will open the bracket and after this what i do i simply click on this cell and as i click on it as you can see that now showing the indication as well as showing the name or address of this cell as well means "A" is showing the column and "1" is showing the row so what i want i say that if the cell is equals to "Naveed" if this cell is equal to naveed then if it is true then give us yes sir
what i say if by saying that uh oh excel if this cell is equal to navi then if it's true then give us a yes sir if not so then give o okay and after this what i do i simply close this and i will click uh definitely i will say enter as you can see it's showing oh because there's nothing so as i type Naveed as you can see that now is showing yes sir why because i say to if that if this cell is equal to naveed means that whenever this cell has naveed so say me yes if not then they say me oh getting me so with the help of Excel if function we can you know we can give a little brain we can give mind to our excel that okay this order so definitely this is the work of Excel if function definitely we are saying that if this cell is equal to nathen give us yes if if not then give us a oh so in the place of naveed it can be naveedplays.com it can be the name of my friend it can be any name it can be anything getting me and one more thing is that for example if you talk about uh this we are using quotation marks here so if we have text means that
