AutoCad 2020 Technical Drawing Engineering Drawing Training Video Beginner Introduction Lesson 1
Hello friends,
On my channel, I share videos geared towards university students, including AutoCad, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Our videos on Technical Drawing with AutoCad have been watched and enjoyed by thousands of students. Due to constantly updated versions, I thought the previous video series I added was a bit outdated. So, I've prepared a new beginner's training video series using the latest version, AutoCad 2020. I hope it's helpful.

This video series should be considered more of a technical drawing tutorial with AutoCad, or computer-aided technical drawing, rather than an AutoCad tutorial. Therefore, it focuses only on the parts of the program we'll use specifically for technical drawing. However, as it's the first step toward learning the program, our lessons are worth following.
Our video series consists of the following main sections:
1) Introduction to the program and acquiring two-dimensional drawing capabilities,
2) Projection methods and Parallel orthogonal projection,
3) Auxiliary views - cut-away view,
4) Solid modeling
Our lessons begin with an introduction to AutoCAD. The program's purpose and main sections are briefly explained. Then, the user begins using the commands in the draw and modify sections. Drawing tools are introduced with the most basic command, the line command. Some features of the program are also explained simultaneously with the line command. Some basic concepts are periodically reviewed to ensure a thorough understanding of the topics. This is based on years of experience. After completing the drawing tools, we begin with the editing tools. Not every command within these two main menus is shown. Because the primary purpose of the video series is technical drawing, the commands used in this context are introduced.
After the first two main menus, the other menus are explained at a slightly faster pace, but still covering the sections used in technical drawing. Some two-dimensional exercises are shown to ensure a good understanding of the drawing portion of the program. You can reinforce your knowledge with these. This concludes the first part.
The second part begins the main objective of the course, which is technical drawing training. Here, the importance and role of technical drawing as an engineering communication tool are demonstrated. The method called three-view or parallel orthogonal projection, one of the projection view methods, is explained. First, the theoretical background of the method is presented, followed by exercises with the method, from easy to difficult.
The third part covers section views, an auxiliary view. Just like the previous methods, the theoretical information is presented, followed by exercises from easy to difficult.
The final part provides a basic introduction to solid modeling, which, while not directly related to technical drawing, can help you better illustrate your assignments or projects with visual aids.
After these training videos, we will continue with mixed sample video problems.
