Spoken Word Poetry Shane Beck, Cinematic Ambient Composer Paul Headon "Unyielding Heart" 2023
Spoken Word Poet, Shane Beck (The Last American Poet) and Cinematic Space Ambient and Meditation composer, Paul Headon have combined their respective talents to produce "Unyielding Heart" which is the title track to their new series of collective "Sound Poems". It is not everyday this form of artistry is combined however it seems to work beautifully here and it is hoped this will not be the last of their collaborative efforts!!!!

"Have you seen the transformation of the last falling tears
When will the wounded soul simply give up & leave
Can you possibly imagine the flashbacks which never end
There is no more yearning for the ghost who died from the start
And we now recollect the final tale of the Unyielding Heart
No one could ever change or even stop what had finally begun
So I stare deeply into the blinding image of that forever burning sun
Hear the softest melody of the sunrise & the beauty of the sunset
A constant reminder of the glorious summer when we first met
Unyielding Heart that remains tainted & yet bound by one word
Unyielding Heart & the gentle voice from the echo in which I heard"
