I've been using ChatGPT as a software engineer a short while after it came out. It definitely has great uses that can benefit anyone's who just starting to learn a new programming language like Python but also more experienced programmers who might use a sounding board and get some feedback for their code & some ideas for testing their code.
However, after using it for a while, there are some pitfalls that are easy to fall into that can and will undermine the process of learning and improving your technical skills through it, or any other LLM based tool that will become available in the future.
