This screencast shows the basic steps required to obtain a graphical model editor using the EuGENia tool that is part of the Epsilon project at:
http://eclipse.org/epsilon/
The basic steps are as follows:
1. Download the Epsilon distribution from the main site (0:05).
2. Download the GMF Experimental Tooling SDK that matches our GMF Tooling version (1:42).
3. Create a new project and add an EMFatic description of the metamodel and a suitable SVG file (3:30). One of the classes in the metamodel has an @gmf.node with figure="svg" and svg.uri="platform:/plugin/nameofplugin/pathto.svg".
4. Generate the plug-in by right-clicking on the .emf file and selecting "Eugenia - Generate GMF editor" (4:49).
5. Run the plugins in a nested workspace by right-clicking on a project and selecting "Run As - Eclipse Application" (5:28).
6. Create a project inside the nested workspace and create one of our models (5:47). By default, the model creation wizard will be part of the "Example" category.
The screencast was recorded using ffcast and edited using OpenShot. I could have obtained a clearer video with PiTiVi, but sadly I ran into several issues with the transitions.
