The remote control will still function properly. The "2-in-1" remote control for the Nice Flor-S allows you to create a "Smart Copy" of a remote control (from remote to remote control using a unique, proprietary technology) from a Nice Flor-S series remote control already added to the receiver (even outside the receiver's range).
