How to Mix the Modern “Whisper” Vocal – This video is all about vocal mixing. By a whisper vocal, we are talking about the kind of vocals that are sung in a soft and controlled fashion. A bit like Billie Eilish, Melanie Martinez and Troye Sivan. So we are looking at achieving a close, full, warm vocal sound and how to best mix these types of vocals.
Quick Disclaimer: I’m not saying that following these exact steps or plug-ins will instantly achieve the vocal sound. Every vocal is different and so different techniques will work for them – I’m hoping this video will just give you some ideas and techniques to try out!
