Quarantine in Luperon (S2 E10 Barefoot Sail and Dive)
Luperon is a beautiful place to have to be on quarantine. We are so thankful that they have allowed us safe harbour to fix a few engine issues before continuing on our path home.
As you may know we did have a few engine issues on our crossing from Puerto Rico. We have started the process of diagnosing what the true problem is. We also found another issue as well! That is boat life isn't it!
We also got to practicing anchoring this week. Anchoring a catamaran is slightly different than our old monohull so it was good practice. It's also amazing to have a windlass! Erica no longer has to pull the anchor up by hand!
This Friday marks day 11 of quarantine plus our two days at sea before. We have now been on the boat for 13 days straight! Looking forward to when we will be able to go for walks again!
