Today's video highlights the new storm event on Farm. This storm introduces intense rain effects that severely limit visibility and disrupt audio. Additionally, there are unique boss mechanics in play. Ajax now spawns 100% of the time at one of three fixed locations, and you'll need to defeat him if you want to use the car extract.
As many of you know, the January 7th, 2025 hotfix also brought a highly requested nerf to thermals: they can no longer use ANY optics. I start the video by sharing some of my thoughts on this, but ultimately, I’m happy with the change. I trust the developers to handle balancing issues in the best way possible. Players are great at pointing out problems, but not at finding solutions. It’s up to the devs to address issues in a way that align with their vision for the game. Overall, it’s a solid update!
