in the street = in the middle of the street
on the street = along the side of the street like on the sidewalk
at + street= when it is very specific like at the corner of the street .Do you sit on or in a train? Do we say in the street on the street, at the street? at the moment or in the moment? 1. on a train, plane, or bus but in a car, taxi, or helicopter!
I can't talk I'm ___ the train! I will call you when I'm __ the taxicab
(on the train/ in the taxicab)

If you can walk, then use : on a plane, train, or bus
If you need to crouch to get in, then use in: in a car, taxi or helicopter
Now don't go asking me about submarines and hot air balloons unless you have one.
and don't comment but we say on a motorcycle the rule doesn't apply , there is no space to walk and yeah, we say on a motorcycle and on a bike!

2. at home but in the house:
I am___ home!
At home, and did you know you can simply say I'm home in spoken English as it's informal.


3. on or at the weekend: the difference
do you want to meet ___ the weekend?
on/at both are correct at the weekend is British English; on the weekend is American English

4. in the morning, afternoon, or evening, but at night!
I brush my teeth __ the morning and __ night!

5. by car, plane, train, but on foot!
she will go to school ____ foot
on foot


5. In vs on the picture.

I am _____ the picture, the mug is ___ the picture.
in the picture, on the picture.

6. In, on, or at a street:

use in the corner if the corner is inside; use at if the corner is outside
