Fixing Panorama Template Push Issues | Palo Alto Troubleshooting
This video concentrates on an issue that is seen on a fairly regular basis, essentially a change is made to a template value on Panorama but although that changes pushes to the Panorama managed firewall it does not take effect.
In this case we had a sub-interface that although deleted and pushed remained on the firewall despite the status of the template being in sync on Panorama.
To solve this we make just the template and device settings local to the firewall to allow us to delete them and then re-enable the templates and push to make the configuration managed by Panorama again.
