Why I Chose the Security+ as My First Certification

The CompTIA Security+ is one of the most common security certifications to start out with when it comes to getting into anything related to I.T. security. Before I decided to journey on the endeavor of getting my Security+, I first had to take a step back and realize why I wanted to pursue this particular certification before others.
After careful consideration and reflection, I decided to begin with the CompTIA SY0-501 Security+ as my first cybersecurity certification. The objectives aligned with what I needed to know before diving too deep into a particular niche within security.
My three reasons as outlined in the video:
1) Entry-level
2) Security-Focused
3) Expand my general knowledge on security
