"Anda", also known as Comorian Big Wedding, takes place over several days. It consists of various traditional ceremonies, including:
The "Mbé za karam": Rodeo parade of taurus offered by the groom's family and which will be sacrificed to feed the whole village.
The "Mwenda dahoni": The groom, dressed as a sultan, and his family, walks to the bride's house (built for the wedding). Women from the groom's family shows signs full of gold jewellery that will be given to the future bride.
The "Tari", which is the name of a Comorian musical instrument. Men performs traditional dance with "Upanga", old flexible swords that were used during the old wars
