This is what I’d tell my younger self as a full stack developer
From a car washer to a full stack developer.
I’m 23 years old and my story may sound familiar to some, and foreign to others.
But the truth is I wasn’t always passionate about building my knowledge with coding.
Honestly I thought I’d never have to work a day in my life because I thought I was going to some how “beat the system”.
I thought I was going to somehow easily earn what people make in 10 years all in a matter of months.
I tried to rush the process trying so many different things.
I soon found myself in a role as a car washer, pretty depressed, moving without any direction.
That’s when I realized the reason I’m not making the income is because I didn’t have any skills.literally nothing about what I had was valuable.So I had to change that and I looked at a list of high income skills and chose the one that most fits me.and it’s coding.
So for my younger self I just want to tell him be patient. Develop yourself. And it’ll all end up working out.
