Working at Netflix, Back Home 🇰🇿
I’m working at Netflix, but for a short time, I’m doing it from my hometown — Almaty, Kazakhstan 🇰🇿
In this vlog, I’m sharing what a day in my life looks like right now: late-night meetings because of time zones, deep work sessions, and slow mornings with my family. I usually do this once a year around the holidays, when I come back home but continue working remotely.
You’ll see how I balance work with spending time with my mom, walking around the city, shopping together, and ending the day with dinner before starting my workday all over again. I also share a bit about Almaty — the city I grew up in — and why coming back always feels special.
The hours are unusual, but being able to work remotely for a limited time lets me stay connected to both my job and the people I love.
Thanks for watching 🤍
