Discord just added MICROTRANSACTIONS
Since Discord added Nitro. They wanted their community to buy and use the features of Nitro. Even adding more features that may seem to be free but it always is for Nitro users.
But this update is no different as they have introduced a new "Shop" to Discord. This "shop" has Animated avatars and backgrounds for your profile.
But They have released some avatars you can get and only use when your Nitro subscription is active. So when it runs out you can no longer use the avatar that you wish to have. Until you activate it again.
Due to this. More updates are related to The subscription and Removing loved features from the community. People are thinking of one thing. Is Discord turning into EA? The similarities are there from the subscription to the Microtransactions that you have to do. This costs lot. £15.48 per avatar.
