The bravest and strongest warrior in Islamic history was Hazrat Ali. Because of his courage, the Prophet Muhammad bestowed upon him the nickname "Lion of Allah." When giving the Dhul-Fiqar to Hazrat Ali, Hazrat Ali said, "There is no sword better than Zulfiqar, no one braver than Ali in this land." Hazrat Ali was the fourth Caliph of Islam. When the Jews collaborated with the pagans during the Battle of the Trench and stabbed the Muslims in the back, the Prophet of Islam laid siege to the castle of Khaybar, where the traitors were living. It was Hazrat Ali who managed to break down the castle's gate and forced the Jews to surrender. After breaking down the massive gate, Hazrat Ali used it as a shield. He was the standard-bearer for Hazrat Muhammad at the Battle of Badr and, in this same battle, he also dispatched Abu Jahl. It is important to note that Hazrat Ali's heroism was not limited to these examples. He was always at the forefront of the struggle for Islam and achieved great success. Hazrat Ali is one of the most important heroes in Islamic history.
