------------------- CONCEPT ART-------------------------------------------------------------
Concept Art and how to make it: (SPARE TIME)
The importance of Concept Art is writing and drawing out all your ideas about the concept in your mind. It's important to do a lot of research, doodles, scribbles, scripts, scenario's etc. before you start with the real deal. You can start raw, but you will find yourself in a difficult possition often near the mid- or finals section of the stort/scene w/e. I'll Show some of my scribbles for some ideas and how I make a more detailed piece. Remeber! THIS IS NOT A FINAL IDEA! You can Always make more detailed pieces. It keeps the fun alive, you learn from it and it feels great when you dont obligate yourself to be held by any set of rules. Let your creativity flourish.
(ASSIGNMENTS)
I will get into this some other time as well in a video. But for now: Working for an assignment also asks for conceptual designs. Sometimes the assignment asks for sketches and doodles, but there are enough employers who dont ask for these resources. Still, take the time, if possible, to doodle some around. Maybe you have some faded information about your (upcoming) assignment and you can start doodling before hand. Schedule well between the deadline and the start of your assignment.
