Two years ago, my granddaughter Ruthie expressed her wish to gift her dad a dreamcatcher for his birthday, hoping to ward off his bad dreams. Upon browsing stores, we found them both pricey and lacking in quality. That's when Ruthie and I decided to take matters into our own hands. We made the dreamcatcher and then... Ruthie and her sister Ellie wanted to have their own dreamcatchers. I personalized a pink and peach one for Ellie and a vibrant blue and green one for Ruthie. Now, they hang gracefully over their beds, serving as guardians of peaceful slumbers. Occasionally, they request I "shake out" any lingering bad dreams from the catchers. As per the enchanting legend of dreamcatchers, the webs filter through the good dreams, guiding them down through the feathers to the dreamer below, while ensnaring the bad dreams, which vanish with the first light of dawn.
