Date 26 August 1071. Location, Malazgirt Plain. 947 years ago, the doors of a great victory that would make Anatolia a Homeland for the Turkish nation were opened. The Emperor of the Byzantine Empire, the most powerful state of the period, came here to crush and destroy the Turkish army. Sultan Alparslan also faced him as the head of his army. There was a serious imbalance between the two sides. In contrast to alparslan's 40,000-strong force, the Byzantine army had an enormous 100,000-strong power.

Sultan Alparslan decided to fight on Friday, 26 August, with the advice of religious scholars. On Friday, August 26, he prayed with his army, prayed, and:
“O Lord! I put my trust in you, and I put my face on the ground, and I fight for you. Oh, Lord! My intention is the state. Help me if I have a crescent in my word.”
Then he returned to his troops and made this wonderful speech in history.:
“There is no Sultan here but Allahu TA'ala. The commandment and destiny are in his hands. Therefore, you are free to fight with me or to leave me...”
The Seljuk army shouted their loyalty to Sultan Alparslan with Loyalty Nids. Sultan Alparslan, wearing a white Shroud dress, tied the tail of his horse and took his hand gürzünını again addressed his soldiers:
“My soldiers! If I'm a martyr, this white dress is my cover. Then my soul will come to heaven. After me, take my son Melikshah on the throne and stick with him. If we win the victory, the future is ours..."
The Seljuk army, who wore the shroud and saw alparslan as a martyr accepted, was able to cry and heal and took the order of war. So, just after Friday prayers, a great collision began. He determined the unbearable moves of the Turkish army and the tactics of ananevi Turan. While the Byzantine army was destroyed, the emperor was among the prisoners.
The Battle of Malazgirt was to give the Seljuks the title of Anatolia. In the next twenty years, the movements of migration into Anatolia rapidly started and became Turkleştirilen Anatolia, with the migration of other Turkish States in Central Asia would become a Turkish homeland.
