The WATER level in the DITCH is getting very HIGH | Hof Bergmann | Farming Simulator 22 | Episode 50
Today we are at Hof Bergmann and we have to spread slurry onto the grass fields we harvested. We started by jumping into John Deere 8230 and attaching the front weight and rope. Then we attached Kotte Grant PT 16000 slurry tanker with the Bomech slurry distributor. When that was done, we pulled to the slurry storage from the cowshed and we started pumping slurry into the slurry tanker. After we got the slurry tanker full, we headed to the first grass field. We unfolded the slurry distributor and then we set up the GPS and rate of slurry. Then we turned on the slurry tanker and started spreading the slurry around the field. We did one headland and then we did ups and downs until we run out of slurry. Then we headed back to the farm to refill the slurry and we run into the problem. The ditch that is in between our land and the main road flooded and it almost got onto the road. We inspected the situation and we decided it needs to be cleaned but that will be done after we finish with the slurry. So we went to the cowshed, refilled the slurry, and finished spreading the slurry onto the first field. When that was done, we went back to the farm refilled the slurry again, and headed to the second field. We did everything the same on the second field and it took us two loads of slurry to cover the field. Then we returned back to the farm, washed the tractor and slurry tanker, and then parked and detached the slurry tanker. After that was done, we detached the rope and front weight and then parked the tractor. The next job was to clean the ditch so the water can flow easily. We jumped into the John Deere Gator and then we loaded the shovel in the back and headed to the ditch. First we cleared the outlet and inlet sides of the ditch and we removed some debris and mud. That didn't do anything so, we returned back to the farm and washed the Gator and shovel, and parked them. We called around the town trying to find the excavator that we could clean the ditch with but we didn't find anything. So we decided to put some cones around the ditch so none gets close to it and we hope the water level doesn't rise. We jumped into the Mercedes Sprinter and headed to the local dealer. We ended up buying ten cones and then we loaded them into the back of the van. After that was done, we transported them to the ditch where we unloaded them and place them in between the road and the ditch.
