Opening exported Simcenter Testlab (in UTS WorkSpace) data in MATLAB and Excel
In this video, I demonstrate how to open data from Simcenter Testlab (in UTS WorkSpace) previously exported in .mat and .txt file formats for interrogation of these data in MATLAB and in Microsoft Excel. I pay particular attention to ensuring that MATLAB format long is used to ensure that the time data increment is not rounded to 0.02 s which would lead to a small but important underestimation in the 512 Hz sample frequency used to collect these time series data.
