AXIS Camera Station - version 5.49 new user features
In this release of AXIS Camera Station you can now use vehicle license plates as a credential within the unified access control element of AXIS Camera Station. You need to purchase and install the AXIS License Plate Varifier ACAP (Version 2.6 or higher) on a camera and update your AXIS A1601 to FW 11.2.5.1 or higher. This can be used to grant staff access to a car park or similar applications.
We have also made some improvements to Smart Search 2 by enabling an area of interest and object size to be defined when configuring Smart search. This will reduce the storage generated by Smart Search 2 as well as removing results being returned from areas that are not of interest. Finally we have added the ability to group results that have occurred in a similar time period. This simplifies the display of results shown to an operator.
