This Ford Performance Jounce Bumper Kit will smoothen the compression and rebound action of the springs to deliver a better and more comfortable ride, making them a perfect complimentary upgrade alongside a set of lowering springs. Upgrading from the factory springs will give your muscle car better handling and a more aggressive racing stance, but they are stiffer than the OEM springs. If you want to have better riding comfort even with a sportier set of springs, this jounce bumper kit is just what the doctor ordered.
Factory GT500 Spec. This Ford Performance Jounce Bumper Kit is the same part utilized in the 2012 to 2014 Mustang Shelby GT500. Compared to the OEM jounce stops, this kit is softer and offers better cushioning. The jounce bumper kit will absorb most of the shock in the chassis as your muscle car traverses over the humps and bumps on the road. The result is a better ride without compromising the tight handling of your pony.
Direct Bolt-on Installation. The Ford Performance Jounce Bumper Kit is a direct bolt-on upgrade over the factory jounce stops in your 2005 to 2014 Mustang. You can finish the job in approximately 3 hours or less using a jack, jack stands, and a basic socket set. The process is no more complex than unbolting the factory front and rear jounce stops and swapping-in the Ford Performance Jounce Bumper Kit in the factory location.
