For a while, digital compacts like this Canon Powershot were basically e-waste, but they’ve become popular again for people looking to replicate a low-fi, Y2K-era look that modern CMOS sensors aren’t capable of. They’re dead simple cameras to use as long as you have a way to read the memory cards and charge the batteries!
