It's about time we get into some render pass magic! In this lesson, we build a simple render pass and then use texture distortion on top of the final output.
Render Pass
The render pass enables us to add effects onto the final rendered image. This means you can add glows to both the objects and the background. Or motion blur. Or even texture distortion! It's also helpful for adding a LUT to the whole scene. The only drawback is that you can't natively use face deformation or the retouch material while using render passes.
Texture Distortion
This amazing patch takes a texture and distorts it based on a second texture. The brighter the distortion texture, the more it distorts.
